My name is Chantelle, a mother of two young boys, currently 4 and 20 months. Upon becoming a mother for the first time, I noticed there was not many mum groups or play groups in Brisbane to connect with other mums with similar aged babies. For the small amount of places that did exist, it was a limited place for only 6 weeks. No way to make long lasting friendships in the early years of being a mother, or have anywhere to take your child for regular social events. My only avenue was to meet other mums in parks (who are still friends to me now!), and I cherish those friendships every day.

It is quite daunting to become a new mum, your world changes, you wish to make friends that have kids as well, and you do not know how to go about doing it all from birth until they start school. My business is designed to help all mums make friendships and be included in a circle of trust, love and joy in those first 5 years.

I want to be able to create a mums group where new mothers and second time mothers (and beyond), can bring their kids to a place of safety and fun, in order to make connections, friends, seek advice and have their children play with other kids, make friends their age and the like. This is where "Mum Friends" came to be. I hope to meet you and your littles at my events coming soon. Stay tuned.
